Hey kids!
Our 60 days are nearly up!!!!!!!!! Wow, time sure flies when you're eating healthy! I don't know about you, but my eating habits have completely changed. I've eaten more vegetables in the last 50ish days than I have all year long! My food choices are much healthier and I feel way better. How about you? Will you be Paleo or in my case, Paleo-ish or Paleo-Plus, forever?
I know Jim has seen me munching on candy these last two weeks but I want you to know I did not give up on Paleo. Halloween is a rough time (due to candy in my face, 24-7)normally and on top of it, there is family stuff going on which led me to make bad choices. Like the blog that Christina sent said, "life gets in the way." We just have to make sure we get back on track any time that happens. Stick to it and your body will thank you. :)Happy Paleoing!!

Well, I was hoping for some radical changes in the old bod! Guess I need more time . Anyone else think that it gets a lot harder when over that magical 40 ish number!? My diet hasn't changed a whole lot, I always ate a lot of vegetables and lean fish and meats. I guess the biggest change is saying good-bye to the chocolatly "protein bars." Maybe that's why when I do have chocolate on a cheat now, I can get lost in that loving feeling!
ReplyDeleteSo, will I stay Paleo? I think for the most part. I pretty much was 80 -90%. Did have 4 PR's within a 2 week period. Feel good except for a few "life stuff" moments.
I hope we've all learned a lot from our "Paleo " experience. It's interesting to hear about everyone's fog after the cheat day. The guys seem to be having greater gains and losses. It always works that way!
Finishing a book called The Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson, the marksdailyapple guy. He takes a bit more relaxed paleo method. Believes in lifting heavy things, run for your life once in a while, move frequently, sleep, play, and no "chronic cardio." This was a guy who used to run 100 miles a week! Let me know if anyone is interested in reading the book, I'll pass it around.
I'm interested in reading the book. Plus he has a lecture this Sunday (Dec 6th) at Catalyst.
